The Newly refurbished One
Stop Centre in Morley Town Hall was officially opened by Morley Borough
Independent Councillor Terry Grayshon on Wednesday 14th February
2007. Speaking at the Ceremony Councillor Grayshon said " Morley Town Hall appears to be going through somewhat of a renaissance at the moment, with the arrival of the Leeds City Credit Union Office and the investment made by Leeds City Council in renovating the One Stop Centre we are going back to what the Town Hall used to be, a building to be used by Morleians." |
Councillor Grayshon praised the staff of the One Stop Centre who for the duration of the refit had been housed in the office of the former Morley Borough Treasurer. The staff worked to ensure that the One Stop Centre was fully operational throughout the refit, which provides more interview booths and waiting space for clients. "Sometimes it is difficult being at the Customer Facing side of any business and Leeds City Council is no different. The staff at Morley do a fantastic job, I know because people have contacted me to say so." added Councillor Grayshon. |
