Racist Graffiti Removed from   Station

Disgusting: Racist Graffiti at Morley Train Station prior to it's removal

British Transport Police are investigating Racist Graffiti which has been daubed across the Car Park of Morley Railway Station.

The clearly Racist Graffiti was spray painted across the Car Park area of the Train Station and was discovered by Councillor Terry Grayshon, who immediately contacted Leeds City Council's graffiti removal team, they arranged for the graffiti to be removed within a matter of hours.

Councillor Grayshon said  "I was truly disgusted to find this graffiti, it is a disgrace that these kind of people still exist, however it is clear that they do.  It saddens me to think that it is someone from Morley who would hold these appalling views in the first place and that they would have the bare faced cheek to advertise the fact.  The British Transport Police are investigating the matter and I hope they arrest the individuals responsible for it. The Town of Morley is not a racist place and the people who committed this appalling act are not welcome here."
