Town Centre Management Board elect local business man as chairman
|

Morley’s new Town Centre Partnership Board have elected local businessman Keith Robinson as its new chairman. The Board, which was set up following the appointment of Morley’s new Town Centre Manager, Peter Mudge, will be setting out a work programme to see the regeneration of the Town Centre. Cllr Judith Elliott, who sits on the board said “This is a historical moments as it is the first time Morley will have a specific person whose job is to bring new businesses into Morley. It is our aim to make sure that Morley Town Centre thrives and expands.” |
The Town Centre Board is made up of local traders along with City and Town Councillors. They will work with the Town Centre Partnership to construct a regeneration programme for Morley Town centre to include work in Morley’s Markets, an improvement programme for Morley Bottoms with an aim to bring in bigger names and more events into the Town Centre.
